Why should I sign up to LPT?
LPT is fast becoming a central resource to find qualified and reputable trainers. Having your profile on LeadingPersonalTrainers.com is a mark of quality that shows you are keeping up with your training and have a passion for Personal Training. Your profile has many features and can even act like a website if you don’t already have one – complete with gallery, social media feeds, blogging, and an educational timeline. Prospective users contact you directly through your profile.
How do I pay for LPT?
Signing up is simple and secure via PayPal subscription payments.
Am I signing up to a contract?
A: No, you can cancel your annual subscription at any time.
How does the star rating work?
Every Course & Seminar (continued professional development) contributes to the star rating depending on the length of the course. Half a star equals 1-day of education and a 2-day course equals one star and so on. Every star earned will only last a maximum of 12 months with a maximum of 5 stars ensuring the PT has kept up to date with their education.
Depending on your level of qualification, a member will always have a minimum base number of stars, which are as follows:
1 Star Personal Trainer with a level 3 qualification
2 Stars Personal Trainer with a Higher Education Degree
3 Stars Personal Trainer with a Masters
4 Stars Personal Trainer with a PHD
What qualifications count towards my rating?
Any personal training related qualification can be used towards your total rating.
Will business development courses contribute towards the star rating?
No, only personal training related qualifications will.
Why are some qualifications approved?
We are continually assessing course providers and adding to our list of approved educators and their courses. Please see Recommended Education Providers page for further details. If you have been on a course that is not approved by us but you feel it was exceptionally good, please contact us with details of the course and the provider.
What happens if a customer/user/client complains about me?
If we receive a complaint we will first ask them for further information. We will then contact you and enquire about the issue. Each case will be looked at fairly and impartially, and on an individual basis. We do reserve the right to remove profiles that have received complaints without providing a refund. In many cases, we will work with you to resolve the issue with the client and hope to keep the profile online where it is fair to do so.
Do you cover the area I work in?
LPT covers the whole of the UK and so no matter where you are based you can join LPT. If you are wondering due to there not being any trainers from your area on our site don’t worry. We encourage that you take advantage of this as you will be far more likely to stand out!
